Motor / Gearbox for Kaddie Boy

Replacement motor & gearbox for the Kaddie Boy trolley.

Fitting Instructions - for reference purposes we recommend that you take a digital image of your existing motor / gearbox assembly.

Remove the main wheels, first marking them so you know what side they belong to.  Separate the motor wires. 
Undo the the axle pillar bearing grub screws ( these are the screws that tighten onto the axle).  Withdraw the axle "R" clip.

Undo and remove the 6mm gearbox mounting screw, making sure to keep the spacer washer safe for the rebuild.

You can now withdraw the axle from one side of the frame allowing the motor/gearbox  to come away.

Fit new gearbox into position - refit 6mm bolt and spacer washer but do not fully tighten. Slide the axle into position - align the "R" clip hole and fit the "R"clip.  Fully tighten the 6mm bolt then tighten the bearing grub screws. Remake the motor wire connections - blue to blue, brown to brown.  Fit the wheels to their correct side.

Job done - test to ensure correct operation.
