Controller - Powakaddy Freeway

Replacement speed controller for the PowaKaddy Freeway ( not the Digital Model )

Fitting Instructions - for reference purposes we recommend that you take a digital image of your existing controller.

Carefully cut and remove cable ties that are under the chassis - separate the motor wires.

Separate the white handle cable connector block - ensure you grasp the connector - not the wires.

Undo the controller mounting screws and remove the old controller.

Before you fit the new controller,  put a small amount of silicon sealent on the new controller mounting holes - this will help prevent water ingess that could damage your new controller. - Do not fit into final position yet.

Reconnect the motor wires - the shorter wire connects to the underside of the motor, the longer to the top - with the wires facing the front wheel secure the controller into position.

Reconnect the white connector block and fit the new long cable tiearound the motor.  Tidy remaining wiring with smaller cable ties.  Job done -  test to ensure correct operation.
